Update: The missing woman has been located
Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a 79-year-old woman reported missing from Arana Hills since this morning, Queensland Police say.
The woman was last seen leaving a residence on Floyd Street around 7.30am and has not been heard from since.
Police and family hold concerns for her welfare as she suffers a medical condition.
She is described as Caucasian appearance with short grey hair and was last seen wearing a pink cardigan, light blue tracksuit pants, white t-shirt and jogging shoes.
Anyone who may have seen her or know her whereabouts is urged to contact police.
