With Victoria in lockdown again, it’s time to find ways to entertain you and the family.
Wodonga Council filmed a series of activities for parents to keep their young ones occupied during last year’s lockdown, head to Felltimber Community Centre’s Facebook page and search videos for ‘cloud dough’, ‘mud play’ and ‘supported playgroups’.
There’s also our popular Storytime events which the council filmed during last year’s lockdown and can be found on Wodonga Library’s Facebook page.
It might be time to get the chalk out again and have the kids decorate the driveway and footpath with fun pictures and uplifting phrases.
Another activity that everyone can benefit from is art therapy.
When your kids get out their markers and colouring-in books, why not join in?
Art therapy can be calming for adults, too and the benefits are many including combatting stress and anxiety and it’s such an easy activity to help you unwind and recharge.
This might be the time to tick off some of the tasks that have been on your to-do list but you have been putting off for another day like organising your photographs into a scrapbook or frame or even just deleting the excess photos from your phone.
Organising the junk drawer could be another task to tick off your list, imagine how good you will feel afterwards.
When the sun starts to go down and the winter chill kicks in towards the evening, pick out a family movie and snuggle on the couch together.
