Two Logan police officers have gotten into the spirit of Christmas with the gift of giving by helping a Loganlea family down on their luck.
Senior Constable Paul Grima and Senior Constable Tom Bisset were attending a minor disturbance at a house at Loganlea on Wednesday December 21, 2016.
While at the residence the officers learnt that the family were going through some financial difficulties and decided no one should miss out on Christmas.
The officers dug into their own pockets and used their own money to buy the family food, hampers and toys for the children.
The gesture has given the family much needed joy at such a difficult time with the officers showing us all the true spirit of Christmas.
