Lone Wolf OMCG member charged with drug and firearm offences, NSW

A Lone Wolf outlaw motorcycle gang member will face court today charged over alleged drug supply and firearm possession, NSW Police say.

Police from the Gangs Squad’s Strike Force Raptor commenced Operation Howl in 2015 to investigate criminal activities of the Lone Wolf OMCG in NSW.

As part of their investigations, Strike Force officers executed a search warrant at a unit at Mandemar Avenue, Homebush West, on Thursday 19 November 2015.

During the warrant, police located and seized a 9mm semi-automatic pistol, with two magazines, MDMA, counterfeit currency, and Lone Wolf OMCG colours.

No one was home, and no arrests were made at the time.

Following forensic examination of the items and further extensive inquiries, a 22-year-old man was arrested at a home on Birdwood Avenue, Wattle Grove, about 11am today.

He was taken to Liverpool Police Station and charged with possess prohibited pistol, not keep firearm safely-prohibited firearm, possess ammunition without holding permit, commercial drug supply, and possess prohibited drug.

The man was refused bail to appear at Liverpool Local Court tomorrow.

Strike Force Raptor was established by State Crime Command’s Gangs Squad in 2009. It is a proactive and high-impact operation targeting outlaw motorcycle gangs and any associated criminal enterprises.

Anyone with information to assist police is asked to contact Crime Stoppers.
