In the early hours on the 25th of October 2020 Tasmania Police and Ambulance Tasmania were called to attend a unit complex in Longford where an elderly male was assaulted in his home. During this incident personal items were stolen from the address.
The elderly male sustained injuries to his head and body, which required hospital treatment as a result of being assaulted.
The matter is currently under investigation by Launceston Criminal Investigation Branch.
