Lotto Win Shock: Oran Park Man Nearly Calls Ambulance

The Lott

An Oran Park man was left wide-eyed and ready to dial triple zero after a sleepy late-night ticket check revealed he'd won $1.5 million in the weekend's Saturday Lotto draw.

The New South Wales resident held one of the four division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4619 on Saturday 25 October 2025. Each division one winning entry scored $1,556,751.24.

When we called the winning man, he was still riddled with excitement.

"I've logged in about 1,000 times!" he said.

"I woke up at 2am in the morning to go to the bathroom, and I sleepily decided to check my ticket.

"I saw it and mate, to be honest, I truly was about to call an ambulance.

"I went from dead asleep to total excitement. I remember thinking, 'I'm overexerting myself here!', and I had to calm down.

"It's safe to say I didn't fall back asleep after that.

"It really is unbelievable. It's come at the right time.

"I have a business, and since COVID, it's been really tough. You have no idea how much it will help.

"Thank you so much! It's fantastic."

His winning 50-game QuickPick was purchased on The Lott website - the official home of Australia's lotteries.
