28 April - 19 May 2023

This group was formed 15 years ago and since its beginnings has grown to over 25 members. The artists have taken a collaborative approach to expanding their knowledge and this has enabled them to refine and develop their skills.

Felting is a very old art form but in recent years it has had a resurgence and is now popular all over the world. Many of the members belong to the International Felters' Association and are continually developing and refining, by trying out new ideas gained from others around the world.

This exhibition showcases the vast range of possibilities for artwork creation through the process of wet felting. It is an eclectic mix of works, demonstrating the diverse skills and creativity of these felters. Highlighting the versatility and visual splendour of this medium, 'Love, Felt, Life' includes wall pieces, sculptures, clothing and accessories.
