The University of Liverpool’s popular FREE Lunchtime Concerts return for their Spring season today.
The Victoria Gallery & Museum (VG&M) will see the return of successful alumni in folk duo Harbottle and Jonas on 5 February, singer-song writer Lizzy Hardingham on 11 March, pianist Brooke Hirst on 29 April and composer Connie Compton-Stewart on 6 May.
The University Staff Choir can be heard in concert on 26 February and on 13 May PRiSM 8 Cubed presents a collaborative research project between the University of Liverpool and the Royal Northern College of Music involving 8 composers, 8 performers and 8 scientists.
The Spring season also welcomes exceptional performers presented in conjunction with partners the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic with Bassico Duo on 12 February and Ensemble of St Luke’s on 18 March.
Pixels Ensemble return with their signature, classy programming on 25 March but the season begins on 29 January with a performance of Messiaen’s Quartet for the End of Time to coincide with the VG&M’s FEPOW exhibition.
