Following a week filled with free ten pin bowling, yoga, tech help, acoustic tunes in the library and morning teas across the Shire, the 2021 Macleay Valley Youth Week and Seniors Festivals will finally come to a close.

But not without one final hurrah!

This coming Saturday, 24 April, a celebratory festival will be hosted for the entire community. The day-long event taking place at Kempsey’s Riverside Park will feature a wide array of inclusive activities for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy.

The event will begin with a giant obstacle course fun run at 2pm and all are welcome to participate.

The celebration will continue throughout the day with market stalls and activities for the whole family.

From 7pm the outdoor movie screen will be put to good use as it will host a short film and entertainment festival into the evening.
