The United States values our strong partnership with Madagascar, which is built on mutual respect and cooperation, and is marked this year by the 150th anniversary of the first U.S. consulate in the country. Today, our ongoing collaboration continues to enhance our mutual safety, strength, and prosperity as we work towards shared goals in promoting maritime security and making advances in economic development, mining, cybersecurity, and education. We reaffirm our dedication to continuing and strengthening this collaboration in the year ahead.
