A man has been arrested following an assault in the city's west end this morning, according to SA Police.
A man was knocked out during an altercation in Victoria Street, Adelaide just after 6am. A police patrol quickly arrived at the scene and apprehended the suspect.
The injured man regained consciousness and was taken by ambulance to the Royal Adelaide Hospital as a precaution.
A 20-year-old Brompton man was arrested and charged with assault cause harm. He will be bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court at a later date.
