Man arrested after police find haul of collector's items, SA

Police have arrested a man after finding a carload of action figures believed to have been stolen, according to SA Police.

The man was pulled over on Morphett Road, Morphettville about 11.30pm on Monday 26 December.

Officers located 57 action figures, model cars and other collector's items and memorabilia, all in their original packaging. There was also a set of original racing overalls signed by motor racing legend Sir Jack Brabham.

A subsequent search of the man's home allegedly uncovered another 98 similar items.

The 29-year-old Norwood man was arrested and charged with unlawful possession. He was refused police bail and appeared in court earlier this week.
