Man arrested after school canteen broken into , SA

A man has been arrested after breaking into a school canteen at Henley Beach last night, according to SA Police.

Just before 10pm, Tuesday 27 September, patrols quickly responded to an alarm activation on Cudmore Terrace.

On arrival they established the canteen had been broken into. They located a man in the school allegedly with items from the canteen and breaking implements.

The 25-year-old man of no fixed place was charged with non aggravated serious criminal trespass, going equipped to commit an offence and breach of bail.

He has been remanded in police custody and will face the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court later today.
