A man has been arrested after another man was stabbed at Canley Vale.
Emergency services were called to Cook Avenue just before 6pm today (Monday 31 December 2018), where they found a man with a stab wound to his neck.
The man, aged 44, was taken to Liverpool Hospital in a critical condition.
Officers from Fairfield City Police Area Command established a crime scene and commenced inquiries into the incident.
A 61-year-old man was arrested at the scene and taken to Fairfield Police Station where he is assisting with inquiries.
