Police have arrested a man after he was found under the bed at a Kilburn home overnight.
Just after midnight on Sunday 3 February, the occupant of a Kitchener Street home woke up to find a man hiding under his bed. He immediately called Triple Zero and police rushed to the home where they found the suspect still hiding under the victim's bed.
The man was searched and he was found in possession of the victim's wallet.
It is believed that the suspect entered through an unlocked front door.
A 50-year-old man from Kilburn was charged with serious criminal trespass and theft. He has been refused bail and will appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday.
