Man arrested following assault at Woodville Gardens, South Australia

A man has been arrested following a stabbing overnight at Woodville Gardens.

Just before midnight on Saturday 3 February, patrols were called to a hotel on Hanson Road after a man walked in with a stab wound to his abdomen. The victim was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police then attended a house in Woodville Gardens where they arrested the suspect. The 48-year-old from Woodville Gardens has been charged with aggravated assault and refused bail to appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court tomorrow (Monday 4 February).

Both men are known to each other.
