Police arrested a 56-year-old man following the death of a man in Mooroopna last night, Victoria Police say.
Emergency services were called to a McKean Street address about 8.50pm, where it is believed an altercation occurred.
A man, who is yet to be formally identified, was treated by paramedics, but died at the scene.
A Mooroopna man was arrested at the scene and is currently assisting police with their enquiries.
Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
