Homicide Squad detectives have arrested a 51-year-old man following a fatal stabbing in Warrnambool last night, Victoria Police say.
Emergency services were called to the Cramer Street address where a man, aged in his 40s, was located with life-threatening injuries about 8.30pm.
He was taken to hospital where he later died.
Investigators arrested the Warrnambool man early this morning.
He remains in custody, assisting detectives with their enquiries.
