Man arrested for breaches of Child Sex Offenders Registration Act, SA

A 28-year-old man from Adelaide’s south will appear in court today following his arrest by detectives from the ANCOR investigations section of the South Australia Police Special Crimes Investigation Branch, according to SA Police.

The man has been charged with one count of communicating with a child with the intent of making the child amenable to sexual activity and two counts of failing to comply with child sex offender reporting obligations.

It will be alleged that the offences involved the man communicating online with a child who lives in Victoria.

The arrest follows information being provided to the South Australia Police by Victoria Police.

The man was refused bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court today.
