Police have taken a man into custody following the death of another man near Ceduna this evening, according to SA Police.
Just before 6.20pm on Tuesday 23 October, police were called to the Yarilena Aboriginal Community on Denial Bay Road about 7kms west of Ceduna following reports of man with serious head injuries.
The injured man was treated at the scene, first by a police patrol then an ambulance crew, before being rushed to the Ceduna Hospital in a critical condition, but sadly the man in his 30's died shortly after arrival.
Ceduna Police have arrested a 56-year-old man from the Yarilena Community, who was located at the scene and known to the victim.
He is currently being interviewed and expected to be charged with murder.
The arrested man will be refused and appear in court tomorrow probably via video link.
