Man arrested in joint anti child exploitation investigation in Wodonga

Detectives from the Joint Anti Child Exploitation Team (JACET) have arrested a man as part of an ongoing investigation in collaboration with Queensland Police into the alleged transmission of child abuse material, Victoria Police say.

A 30-year-old Queensland man was arrested today at an Australian Defence Force facility in Bonegilla (near Wodonga).

He was interviewed by police and has been charged with transmit child pornography, solicit child pornography and produce child pornography

The man was remanded to appear at Wodonga Magistrates Court on 24 July.
