Man arrested over Para Hills firearm incidents, SA

A man has been arrested following two separate firearm incidents at a Para Hills home, according to SA Police.

Just after 2pm on Wednesday 22 June, police were called to Filmer Avenue after reports of shots fired into a home.

When police arrived at the scene, they located what appeared to be a number of gun shots that had been fired into a house.

Later in the evening, just before 10.30pm, police were again called to the same house after reports a further three shots were fired into the home.

On both occasions, a white utility was seen leaving the area.

People were present at the home but were not physically injured.

Enquiries by police led them to a house in Craigmore where Elizabeth patrols along with STAR group officers arrested a man without incident.

A search of the home uncovered a loaded rifle that has been seized by police.

A 36-year-old man from Craigmore was arrested and charged with acts to endanger life as well as numerous firearm offences.

He has been refused bail and will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court later today.

Police believe the incidents are not random.
