Man arrested over Plympton stabbing, SA

Police have arrested a man following a stabbing incident at Plympton this morning, according to SA Police.

Police and paramedics were called to a block of units on Anzac Highway just after 7.30am on Saturday 26 May after reports a woman had been stabbed.

When patrols arrived, they found a woman with several wounds to her head and body.

The woman was treated at the scene before being taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital. Her injuries are not considered life threatening.

Investigations led police to a Park Holme address where the man was arrested without further incident.

A 30-year-old man from Park Holme is currently being interviewed by police and is expected to be charged later today.

The incident is not believed to be random with both parties known to each other.
