Man arrested over Tungkillo fatal stabbing, SA

A man has died and another man arrested following a fatal stabbing at Tungkillo last night, according to SA Police.


Police and paramedics responded to reports of a serious assault on Adelaide Road just before 10.30pm on Wednesday 13 September.

When patrols arrived, they located a man with a stab wound lying unconscious in the driveway of the premises. Attempts were made to resuscitate the 51-year-old Tungkillo man but sadly he died at the scene.

A 52-year-old man from Tungkillo has been arrested and charged with murder. He has been refused police bail and will appear in the Murray Bridge Magistrates Court today.

This is not a random incident, both parties are known to each other.
