Man arrested over Westbourne Park shooting, SA

A man has been arrested over a shooting incident at Westbourne Park in July, according to SA Police.

Several shots were fired at the front of a house in Angas Road, Westbourne Park just after 2am on Friday 14 July.

A male occupant of the home was not injured during the incident, as no bullets penetrated the inside of the house.

Following an investigation by Crime Gangs Task Force, a 25-year-old Torrens Park man was arrested this morning and charged with endanger life and firearms offences. He was refused police bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court later today.

Police wish to reassure the public that this was not a random incident, rather the people involved are known to each other.
