A man has been arrested after a vehicle stop resulted in police allegedly locating illicit drugs in Punchbowl this morning, NSW Police say.
About 2am today, officers attached to Campsie Local Area Command stopped a silver Honda Jazz on Canterbury Road.
Police will allege the driver was found to be in possession of cannabis and methylamphetamine ("ice").
The 29-year-old man was arrested and taken to Campsie Police Station.
He was charged with drug possession and possessing equipment to administer drugs.
The man was given strict conditional bail to appear before Burwood Local Court on Monday 22 November 2016.
