Man assaulted after Craigmore break-in, SA

Elizabeth Police have been searching the Craigmore area after a home owner disturbed two men inside his home this morning, according to SA Police.

Just before 12pm, a man returned to his Autumn Avenue home to find two men ransacking his house.

The home owner confronted the two suspects and a scuffle broke-out, before the two men fled with jewellery taken from the house.

Police including a police dog patrol searched the area for the suspects, one man described as Caucasian 184cms tall, heavy build wearing a black top, grey t-shirt and black cap, but they weren't located.

The home owner received minor injuries in the ordeal, while one of the suspects is believed to have received a cut to the head during the scuffle with the home owner.
