Man assaulted at Glenelg, South Australia

A man is in hospital as police investigate an assault overnight at Glenelg.

Just after 2am on Sunday 24 January, patrols and paramedics were called to a pool hall on Jetty Road after reports of a fight breaking out and a man unconscious.

On arrival, police located a 25-year-old man with head and facial injuries. He was treated at the scene before being taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital. Patrols and detectives from Western District CIB spoke to a number of witnesses at the scene and investigations are continuing.
