Police are investigating following an assault on a bus at Hunters Hill.
About 3.25pm (Saturday 2 November 2019) officers from Ryde Police Area Command were called to Victoria Road after a 32-year-old man was physically assaulted on a bus.
It is believed the man stepped into assist an elderly male passenger who was being assaulted by two men and one female, before they turned on him.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the 32-year-old man for minor head injuries.
Two people, one man and one woman, have since been taken into custody.
Police are still searching for the third offender.
