Man assaulted on south bound train, SA

Five people have been arrested following an altercation on a train at Oaklands Park, according to SA Police.

Just after 1.30pm on Friday 17 November, patrols attended the Oaklands Park Railway Station after reports of a group of men and teenage boys having assaulted a man onboard the train.

The victim was punched a number of times and received a minor cut to his ear after one of the teenagers allegedly produced a knife. He was treated at the scene by paramedics.

Patrols arrested two youths and three adults who are all expected to face charges of aggravated affray. One youth is also expected to be charged with aggravated assault.
