Man Charged After $21K Seized in Goulburn Stop

A man has been charged with goods suspected of being stolen, following a traffic stop in the state's south.

About 11.30am yesterday ( Sunday 4 May 2025), officers attached to Traffic and Highway Patrol command were patrolling the Hume Highway, Goulburn when they pulled over a van, after allegedly detecting the car wasn't registered.

Police searched the vehicle and found just over $21,000 in cash and testosterone.

The 28-year-old male driver was arrested and taken to Goulburn Police Station.

He was charged with goods suspected stolen in/on premises (not motor vehicle), possess prohibited drug, drive motor vehicle while licence suspended, use unregistered class C motor vehicle on road, use uninsured motor vehicle on road.

He was granted conditional bail to appear before Goulburn Local Court on Monday 16 June 2025.
