Man charged after car crashes into house, NSW

A man has been charged with high range PCA after a car crashed into a house in Seven Hills overnight, NSW Police say.

Just after 2am (Saturday 22 December 2018), emergency services were called to the intersection of Fourth and Eighth Avenue, following reports a Holden Astra had left the road, hit a pole and two cars parked in the front of a home.

The driver was detained by a member of the public before officers from Blacktown Police Area Command attended.

The driver was subject to a roadside breath test, returning a positive result.

The 19-year-old man was arrested and taken to Blacktown Police Station. A subsequent breath analysis returned a reading of 0.158

He was charged with high range PCA and will appear a Blacktown Local Court on Tuesday 5 February 2019.

The house sustained minor damage during the incident.
