Man charged after refusing a breath test in Hurstville

A man has been charged after he failed a breath test following a crash at Hurstville last night, NSW Police say.

Just after 11.45pm today emergency services were called to a building on Butler Lane, after reports of a crash.

Officers from St George Local Area Command attended and found a Honda CRV had crashed into the roller door of the garage.

Police spoke with the driver, a 72 –year-old man and submitted him to a breath test which returned a positive result.

The man arrested and taken to St George Police Station, where he allegedly failed to provide a breath analysis sample.

His licence was suspended and he was charged with refuse or fail to submit to breath analysis.

He will appear at Sutherland Local Court on Tuesday 15 November 2016.
