A man has been charged after he refused a breath test following a crash at Mortdale yesterday, NSW Police say.
About 1:15am yesterday, emergency services responded to reports of a car crash at the intersection of The Strand and Station Street at Mortdale.
Police have been told a silver Mercedes and a grey Mazda crashed at the intersection.
Officers spoke with the 24-year-old driver of the Mercedes and submitted him to a breath test which returned a positive result.
The man was arrested and taken to Kogarah Police Station, where he allegedly refused to provide a breath analysis sample.
The man was charged with refusing a breath analysis and had his licence suspended.
He was granted conditional bail to appear at Kogarah Local Court on Tuesday 8 November 2016.
