Detectives from the Sano Taskforce have charged a Western Australian man following an investigation into historic offences, Victoria Police say.
The 68-year-old man was charged with rape, sexual penetration of a child 16-17 years old under care/supervision or authority and indecent assaults.
The charges relate to offences that occurred in in 1981 and 1985.
The man was summonsed to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on August 4.
