Man charged by Strike Force Raptor over indecent posts on social media

A man will face court today charged by Strike Force Raptor over alleged indecent posts on social media over the last week.

On Saturday (27 April 2019), investigators from the Criminal Groups Squad's Strike Force Raptor commenced inquiries after becoming aware of several posts on social media, which were deemed to incite violence.

Following inquiries, Strike Force Raptor arrested a 37-year-old man at Ryde Police Station just after 10.30am yesterday (Tuesday 30 April 2019).

The Dundas Valley man was charged with four counts of publish indecent article.

He has been refused bail to appear at Burwood Local Court later today (Wednesday 1 May 2019).

Inquiries are continuing.
