Man charged following alleged bomb hoax threat in Goulburn

A man will face court after allegedly making a threatening call to a fast food restaurant in South Goulburn last month, NSW Police say.

Just after 11.30pm (18 March 2016), a staff member at the restaurant received a call from a man making a bomb threat.

Officers from The Hume Local Area Command were notified and commenced an investigation.

Following inquiries, detectives arrested a 19-year-old man at a home in Goulburn, today.

He was taken to Goulburn Police Station where he was charged with give false information person/property in danger.

The man was refused bail to appear at Goulburn Local Court tomorrow.
