A man has been charged after an assault in Pyrmont last night.
About 11.10pm today, police were called to a licensed premise on Pyrmont Street, after reports of an assault.
Officers from Sydney City Local Area Command attended and located a 43-year-old man who had been punched, knocking him unconscious., NSW Police say
He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to St Vincent’s Hospital in a stable condition.
Following inquiries, a 28-year-old man was arrested and taken to Day Street Police Station.
He has been charged with offensive conduct.
The man was granted conditional bail and is due to appear at the Downing Court Local Court on Wednesday 26 July 2017.
