Man charged following Croydon lotto shop robbery

Maroondah Crime Investigation detectives have arrested a man following an armed robbery in Croydon last week, Victoria Police say.

The incident occurred in the Main Street shop just before 8am.

The male staff member sustained stab wounds during the incident.

Detectives arrested a man today after they executed a search warrant in Plumer Street, Croydon.

A 33-year-old Croydon man has been charged with armed robbery, intentionally cause serious injury, common law assault and make threats to kill.

He has been remanded in custody until 13 April.
