Man charged following Mount Baw Baw assault and ski-doo theft

Baw Baw Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged a 27-year-old man following an alleged assault and ski-doo theft at Mount Baw Baw on Tuesday, Victoria Police say.

The Tootgarook man was arrested yesterday and charged with six offences including affray, threats to inflict serious injury and other assault-related offences.

He was bailed to appear at Horsham Magistrates’ Court on 24 September.

The charges relate to the alleged assault of five staff members at a business in Mount Baw Baw Village about 7.30pm.

The investigation into the identity of the remaining two men remains ongoing.
