A man has been charged after allegedly inciting violence through online social media posts earlier this week.
Police will allege the man made a number of menacing posts inciting violence towards certain politicians on a social media site on Tuesday 20 January 2026.
Following an investigation into the matter, police attached to Blue Mountains Police Area Command arrested a 37-year-old man in Valley Heights, this morning (Sunday 25 January 2026).
He was taken to Blue Mountains Police Station and charged with use carriage service to menace/harass/offend and encourage the commission of crimes.
The man was refused bail to appear before Bail Division Court today (Sunday 25 January 2026).
