A man has been charged after fuel was allegedly stolen from a South Sydney service station earlier this month.
On Saturday 11 April 2026, officers attached to South Sydney Police Area Command commenced an investigation after reports of a fail to pay for petrol.
Police were told about 7.15pm, the driver of a white utility allegedly filled multiple large drums and jerry cans with 915 litres of diesel, the total valued over $2,870.
Following inquiries, today (Thursday 30 April 2026), a 22-year-old man was arrested at Goulburn Police Station, where he was issued a Court Attendance Notice for dishonestly obtain property by deception.
He was granted conditional bail to appear before Downing Centre Local Court on Monday 15 June 2026.
