Man Charged for Vandalizing Long Jetty Business

A man has been charged following an investigation into the malicious damage of several glass doors and windows in the Long Jetty business district over the weekend.

Officers attached to Tuggerah Lakes Police District commenced an investigation after receiving seven reports of broken windows to businesses on The Entrance Road, Long Jetty.

The offences are alleged to have occurred between 2.50am and 3.20am on Saturday 21 June 2025.

Following extensive inquiries, including a public appeal for information, police arrested a 32-year-old man at The Entrance Police Station about 5pm yesterday (Monday 23 June 2025).

There he was charged with eight counts of destroy or damage property.

He was granted strict conditional bail to appear before Wyong Local Court on Wednesday 23 July 2025.
