A man is due in court today charged over an alleged home invasion at Baulkham Hills earlier this month.
Officers attached to The Hills Police Area Command were called to a home on Sarah Crescent after two men forced their way inside about 1.30am on Monday 3 August 2026.
The men, who were allegedly armed with an electronic stun device and a metal pole, threatened the residents, demanding cash, before leaving. The residents were distressed but not physically injured.
A crime scene was established and inquiries commenced by detectives attached to The Hills Police Area Command under Strike Force Lanrik.
Following extensive inquiries, a 32-year-old man was arrested after a search warrant was executed on a home unit on Brighton Boulevard, North Bondi, about 5.30am yesterday (Tuesday 25 August 2026).
He was taken to Surry Hills Police Station where he was charged with special aggravated break and enter and commit serious indictable offence – weapon.
He was refused bail to appear in Bail Division Court 6 today (Wednesday 26 August 2026).
Inquiries are ongoing.
