A man has been charged over an alleged act of indecency committed towards a child in Lakemba this month, NSW Police say.
Police will allege a 44-year-old man committed an act of indecency towards a ten-year-old boy outside a toilet block at a hall on Lakemba Street on Sunday 15 May 2016.
Officers from Campsie Local Area Command were notified and commenced an investigation.
Following inquiries, a 44-year-old man was arrested yesterday today and taken to Campsie Police Station.
He was charged with committing an act of indecency toward a child under 16.
The man was granted strict conditional bail to appear at Burwood Local Court on Tuesday 21 June 2016.
