Man charged over Attempted Armed Robbery at Loganholme, QLD

A 27-year-old man has been charged over the alleged attempted armed robbery of a group of people at Loganholme on Friday, December 15, Queensland Police say.

It is alleged that just before 4am, four teenagers were walking north along Bryants Road, when a car has pulled up in front of them.

The male driver has allegedly pointed a firearm at the group, while a female passenger demanded they hand over their phones and wallets.

The group has ignored the demands and continued to walk along Bryants Road and the pair drove away.

A 27-year-old man, with no fixed place of abode, has been charged with four counts of attempted armed robbery and four counts of failing to appear in court.

He is scheduled to appear at Beenleigh Magistrates Court today.

Investigations are continuing.
