Man charged over domestic assault, NSW

A man has been charged following an alleged domestic assault at Potts Point overnight, NSW Police say.

About 5pm (Tuesday 26 June 2018), police from Kings Cross Police Area Command responded to reports of a man being allegedly assaulted outside a unit block in Kellett Street.

On arrival, officers spoke with two men aged 50 and 42, and a crime scene was established.

The 50-year-old man was assessed by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital for treatment.

A 42-year-old man was arrested and taken to Kings Cross police station where he was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

He was granted strict conditional bail to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on Wednesday 4 July 2018.
