Man charged over drugs at Willow Vale, QLD

Police have charged a man after allegedly locating a significant amount of cannabis and cash at his home at Willow Vale yesterday morning, Queensland Police say.

Around 9.15am, officers from Coomera Station executed a search warrant on a Rosemount Drive property, where they allegedly located around five kilograms of cannabis, one cannabis plant, cannabis seeds, 73 restricted prescription tablets, around $20,000 cash, pipes and a grinder.

A 23-year-old Willow Vale man has now been charged with one count each of possessing dangerous drugs, supplying dangerous drugs, possessing utensils, possessing anything used in the commission of a crime, possessing suspected proceeds of an offence, possessing a controlled drug.

He is scheduled to appear at the Southport Magistrates Court on November 12, 2018.
