Man charged over firearm and drug-related offences in Richmond

A man will appear in court following his arrest in relation to alleged firearm and drug offences in Richmond yesterday, NSW Police say.

Just after midday yesterday, officers attached to Hawkesbury Local Area Command arrested a 35-year-old man at Richmond Marketplace over an outstanding warrant.

He was taken to Windsor Police Station.

The man was later charged with the outstanding warrant as well as possess unauthorised firearm, supply firearm to person unauthorised to possess it, supply prohibited drug (indictable quantity) and breach of bail.

He has been refused bail to appear in Penrith Local Court today.
