Man charged over Hobart robberies, TAS

Police have charged a 43 year old Claremont man in relation to two robberies committed on Saturday 2 December 2017, Tasmania Police say.

It is alleged that the man entered both Subway Hobart and KFC Derwent Park on that day and threatened staff, making off on foot on each occasion with a quantity of cash.

Police have been actively searching for the man who subsequently presented himself to police where he was interviewed and detained to appear in court on Thursday 7 December 2017.
